This website was created as a legacy tribute to honour and preserve the history of the Peninsula Choristers, Cape Town male voice choir. It pays tribute to these talented choristers and maestros for what they contributed to the community musical heritage in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

The story …
There has been a rich history of choral music in the Cape of which the Peninsula Choristers played a huge part for many years. They showcased their own talent and created many opportunities for local groups and soloists to showcase their talents in the community.
The legacy …
This is a platform to showcase choral legacies, tributes, artifacts, musical clips, voice clip memories, recordings, memorabilia, stories and photos and for those who remember and supported their musical events, to share their memories.
The memory …
We hope you will enjoy reading their stories, viewing their photos, listening to their music recordings and indulging in some nostalgic moments and memories.

For those of you who attended the concerts, rehearsals and events, you will recall one of the old favourite songs that held special meaning to the Peninsula Choristers, their families and supporters, and still reverberates today, with a message of service to all:
IF I CAN HELP SOMEBODY
(AB Androzzo)
If I can help somebody, as I pass along,
If I can cheer somebody with a word or song,
If I can show somebody he is travelling wrong,
Then my living shall not be in vain.
Then my living shall not be in vain,
Then my living shall not be in vain,
If I can help somebody as I pass along,
Then my living shall not be in vain.
If I can do my duty as a Christian ought,
If I can bring back beauty to a world upwrought,
If I can spread Love’s message that the Master taught
Then my living shall not be in vain.
